Hey there... you're not from Winter Hill, are you? LOL! Your grow looks good - and yes, VERY bushy! The advice to wait a while between defoliation sessions is simply to see if the plant is reacting badly to it - and yours clearly is not... The only other thing I would say here is that not getting light into the plant is NOT going to stunt the plant... if you think she's not growing tall enough at this point, what you did with your lights (dimming them) can definitely help - either that or raising them to encourage more of a stretch. Personally, I'd probably take some of those biggies out of there but normally I wait until the plant starts to set her flowers (or, in your case since you're growing a photo, after you flip to 12/12) and then do a defoliation... Those large leaves are needed by the plant to stoke up on the power it's going to need to produce a good crop of buds... I seriously would not worry about the bushiness of it yet UNLESS you're seeing moisture where leaf touches leaf.... Good luck! Looks like she's going to be a monster!

Hey Growmie, so far she looks fine. You can definitely do a little more defoilation of the bigger fan leaves that are covering/shadowing the lower branches..I wouldn't take to much more off but you could do a few more. Overall you are doing just fine. Don't over complicate it and keep learning about how to read your plants. You seem to be on the right track! Good luck fam! With that said if it were me, I would take a couple of the bigger fan leaves off like I mentioned and bend and twist them out to open her up a little. It will also help even the canopy. There are so many options. You don't always have to do HST like super cropping. Although you can. I don't have too much experience yet in that department but I do have a nice grow going where I did a bunch of LST ( bending and twisting, tying down a few in directions to fill the empty space. Later adding a trellis helps too. You got this buddy! Good luck

If your not going to cut them, tie them down to allow light through.
