Flushing is a myth that won’t die, its hard within the grow community to find out what works and what does not. Ask anyone with a plant science background and they will tell you its bonkers. Giving plants lots of water will not take chemicals out of the buds, its just not how it works. If you plan on giving just water as needed and not in excess to flood the medium, then sure they will use up whats available and starve slowly, but its end of life does not matter. The most important part of the good tasting buds is the cure. Look into how to cure and it will do far more then ‘flushing’ I will say some grows need to flush. But this is only to correct an overfeed problem. FYI: We will not be notified of any reply or tag [@] in the questions part of the website, if you need to reach out with other information use your DM "direct mailbox" in the bottom right hand corner of the page. it looks like a little paper airplane icon. Best Of Luck!

It depends on the type (and amount) of fertilizers you use. When growing organically, flushing may not be necessary. But in the case of using chemistry - it is definitely better to do it. I don't care what stupid google has to say about it - i tested it personally (more than once), so i simply KNOW (i don't have to believe each stupidity). I suggest you do the same - check it out for yourself. Flush one plant, and the other not flush. And compare the taste. Then you'll know (and you won't have to ask). I use chemicals, so i ALWAYS do flush. It's not about the difference in taste (sometimes it's hard to feel), but about the fact that you won't choke while smoking. That's all. Happy New Year!

flushing only impacts minerals of your soil/substrate. the plant has no method of ecreting wastes.. it either uses it or it piles up. is anything piling up? (aka toxicity?) if not, there is no reason to flush. blind taste tests and analysis show that ppl cannot discern between flushed flower and non-flushed. Analysis shows flushed buds contain no more or less mierals than unflushed bud... they are running out of exceuses to flush, lol.. this happens when they are made up without proof. for years.. "it reduces mineral content" no it does not... and it only takes a few semesters of college biology to sniff that bullshit out. cell differentiation.. "sex" cells are not storage facilities.... not their purview/mandate

Don't flush, do not listen your friend. it's a myth, go search in google and u will find lots of researchs about it. Flush is bs. Keep ur feed, probably feed more at the end, like 800ppm to 1400ppm depending on lights or co2 in the room. Just make sure u are not wasting ur nutes , cause the plant convert everything and its not like elements like iron and cobalt in soil cause u are growing indoor. so, if u are using good nutes , organic nutes don't bother listen tour friend. U can cut whenever u want. Also...no need to wait x many days in darkness...it's another myth. good luck

If you've grown organically, there's absolutely no reason for you to flush... you haven't loaded up your plants with chemicals that SOME people taste when they grow with them and don't flush... I honestly think flushing is a myth myself but there you have it. Smile at your friend (you want to keep him as a friend, yes?) and say "thank you for your advice! I appreciate it!" ... and unless he's there watching how you're feeding/watering, he'll not know you aren't flushing... Good luck.... glad you found a good PK booster!

Also flushing soil is not ideal, it can compact the medium if not done right leading to overwatering as it retains moisture, this then can turn into rot root. Cheers,

The flush myth is for bottled nutes not organic soils. The idea behind the flush is to let the plant use up all its stored resources so you only give water for the last 2 weeks.

Yes, the last 2 weeks you flush the plant to let the plant use the nutrients stored inside the plant. When you do this you get a cleaner product and a better taste! Here is a link how to flush: https://dutch-passion.blog/how-to-flush-cannabis-plants-the-right-way/ Enjoy your harvest! 😋
