Gold1answered grow question 2 years ago From my understanding some LED lights will put out UVA and UVB light, which will cause skin damage in high amounts. That being said, I don't believe LED lights put out enough of it to be harmful to you in a grow tent setting. I would be more concerned with your eyes as the intensity of the light as well as the blue light will damage your eyes if exposed long enough.
If you are really concerned, just turn the dimmer down to the lowest level while working in the tent. I try to not look in the tent or work when the light intensity is 100% and I find no issue with my eyes or skin when the light is dimmed as far as it can go.
