I have run several mars lights in the ts series about 30 inches at 100 percent then get closer as you progress unless the seedlings start stretching a lot. Might have to start closer if doing 3 or 4 under 1 ts 1000. The 30 inches is referencing the light intensity spot directly in middle of light on surface. Light is weaker around edges is why I say you might have to start a little closer

I have 4 Mars Hydro TS1000s in 2 different tents. I run them @ 18" High and at 50% Power during Veg. I then go full blast 100% during flower, staying at 18" above the plants. I believe that is also what Mars recommends. I have had 0 issues with burning of the plants at all. They have gotten as close as 12" for a day or two without issue.

Seedlings normally don't need a lot of light in the beginning i would just set to 50% in veg at 15 to 20cm and per week raise it a little while the plants grow couple weeks in slowly start giving some More % of light close to flowering 100% between 18 to 25cm from the canopy . Hope this helps any . Mars hydro works amazing for me . And there's always a manual that tells you exactly how to use it in veg to flow . Happy growings mate 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I run 2 TS1000 Mars Hydro lights. I started at 30 inches at 100%. I then slowly drop it down each week till I'm at 20-24 inches above the canopy then I raise the light to keep it at that distance. Just my personal preference. I try to keep my plants short and stocky tho. I like close node spacing.
