To start, let me share my experience. Since I began using the Mycorrhizae+Trichoderma combo, I haven't had any major issues like over-fertilization or over-watering. It's very noticeable that root preparation with fungal agents is the future, and the new generation of cultivation applies not only to cannabis but also to all the plants I have (I'm also an outdoor grower of exotic chilies). My experience with mycorrhizae (I initially used the Trabe base and recently the Ugro 1200 Glomus Intraradices base - rapid development in 24 hours), but the "wow" factor has been the Tricofor + (Trichoderma harzanium) and how much my results have improved. The most remarkable thing about the combination of fungi is the amount of fertilizers/nutrients needed. My experience indicates that, for example, with 12-liter air pots, nutrient water can be recycled for over a week until signs of nutrient deficiency start to show (like a few yellowing leaves at the base). So, what drains from the pot can sustain more than a week of watering, and this happens because mycorrhizae and Trichoderma make nutrient absorption in the grows very effective. The most impressive thing about this fungus (Trichoderma) is that, besides being a nutrient and water absorption optimizer, it is also an incredible biological control for autumn/winter crops where consistent moisture in a growing medium between 19 and 22 degrees is an optimal environment for the development of other pathogenic fungi.
My usage experience indicates that one gram spread across three pots between the seedling stage and then at the start of flowering is enough for the grows to be among the healthiest I've ever had. The people from nutrient brands will surely be upset if they read my analysis, but with mycorrhizae and Trichoderma, what their plans provide for a season, with these auxiliary fungi, will only require about a tenth of what is indicated, and with something very specific, which turns out to be that the substrates inoculated with mycorrhizae and trichoderma are greatly recycled. So, a soil that could previously last for up to two seasons can serve for cultivation for five/six or who knows how many seasons, depending on extending the use of trichoderma.
I believe that all recreational growers should start using reinforcing fungi like mycorrhizae but especially Trichoderma, as this fungus is "eternal."
Even though the final flush affects part of the symbiotic structure of the fungi to the primary root system, most of the nutrients are retained in the substrate, and a new inoculation at the beginning of the grow rehabilitates the potential for nutrient and water absorption, which is what these fungi excel at.
So, it's definitely very important for all "growers" to understand the infinite potential of root symbiotic fungi like Glomus sp or Trichoderma harzanium.
And I'm even considering, in a future grow, documenting in a diary the experiment of trying to create an auto-flowering plant with just one nutrient input every 20 days of growth... so if the grow is designed for 70 days (I'll try with weekly waterings and only three nutrient inputs throughout the grow, aiming for a perfect grow and going all out)...
