I use both veg and bloom switched on from day one until harvest day and believe it produces better results. The bloom light is meant to be used in addition to the veg/grow light and never just bloom on its own. So, once flowering starts, leave your veg light on and add the bloom light too.

The switches are kind of misleading using the word bloom can suggest "inducing flower" this is false it's merely the prefered spectrum for a blooming plant. You can absolutely use both switches during the whole process however far red (found on your bloom switch ) has been reported to possibly cause some extra stretching during veg) hope this helps!

If you mean which mode the light should be on, and it has multi modes: Once they start putting on flowers I would swap from veg to veg+bloom spectrum. I would run full power (both) until harvest. Personally I wouldn't run just the bloom spectrum, and some brands will not even have the cooling fans running without the veg spectrum

in photos whenever you like the size of your plant, you can switch to induce flowering. for autos what i know is that you shouldn't switch.
