There is a solo cup challenge i want to join. Thinking of going with coco. Do i add any nutrients to it at the start? What % of perlite should i add?

2:1 coco to perlite -- golden. ~30% perlite
Fertigate every irrigation around 1.3-1.5 concentration with a well-balanced feed and it'll go fine. Dial it in and you'll have a 2' 40+ gram solo cup plant no problem.

the goal is the plant gets so big oyu need something to hold the cup upright because it's so top-heavy :P
and think about how you'll secure it when it gets there... so ti doesn't fall over.

I always rinse my coco to get the smaller particles out of it. Then soak it in 150 ppm of cal/mag for 30 min. Growing in a solo cup i would only add 5-10% perlite.

PH-Problems in SoilBefore repotting, the pH value in the soil has always fallen to below 5.5. The plants always have an iron deficiency. I then repotted the plants and that worked well for 14 days. Now they are showing PH deficits again. The soil has PH 5,4 -4,8. What could be the reason?

Overwatered cubes in hydro? Too close to the sun? or effect of having addHi All, I have issues with my first hydro grow - i effed up. I think i was too slow in the transfer over in the tank. Light is 200 PPFD, EC at 0.6, and barely added any nutes.

Mold on soilI used BioBizz LightMix with Monsterbud Mix from Amnesia and some mycorrhiza in the hole of the seed. 3 seeds after 3 days still not germinated in soil. Had foil on top of the pots for humidity. Probably watered a bit too much. What should I do and will my seeds still germinate?

I imagine making a mixture of 50% old soil and 50% new

soil not accepting waterSo last Sunday I watered in a little less than a gallon for each, in 7-gallon pots. the bottom is soaking wet, but about 1/2 inch down the soil seems bone dry. My outflow was nearly 2000
I calibrated my bluelab pen to ensure accuracy.

I got a dehumidifier to regulate and keep the humidity in 50%.
When i opend the deposit of the water of the dehumifier i found these little flies that are the classic Substrate fly (nasty but no harm).
Do yall think that the dehumidifier got them? Has this even happened to U4 years ago
