Is there any effect of letting an auto strain in the dark before harvest, what 48h or so?

Also wonder if I have to get the lights on after that, for a couple of hours, or so, and then cut them. I have read it's at this time plants produces more terpenes, is that right?

This is a very controversial topic. Personally I do light off for 48 hours prior harvest. Mainly to start purging chlorophyll, and sugars from plant. Having a nice smooth smoke that doesn't choke me out is my reason.

Light on? Never heard of that I know about the darkness some say enhanced resin production when they keep the plant for 3 days of complete darkness Also, there is 1 week before the harvest called ice flash or just putting ice in the soil but ur too late for this one and a lot more but never heard about light on 😅

Small bud rot - Harvest or finish off? 9 weeks into flower I've had to cut about a 1 inch section off the top of one of my colas due to what appears to be rot. I've checked the rest of the plant and can't see anywhere else that has been effected. Should I harvest now to be on the safe side or let it finish up?
