I decided to look at the trichomes today and I noticed about 10% are turning amber already on the widow. I thought i still had almost three weeks to go is this normal? Some of them are still clear. Today is day 41 since starting flower.

Hello dear friend As I often say trichomes know more about breeders. Only they hold the truth of the harvest 😊   A quick reminder of what to know about harvest time When the trichomes are mostly milky and 10% amber is that your plant is mature you can harvest your plant in several times without problems you just have to inspect your buds and take what have reached maturity. 👍 In logic all the buds of the top should be ripe and those of the bottom still a few days. May the strength be with you 💪

As you are growing Indoors, and your plants are growing big and dense, the light has not the chane to get everywhere. To the light exposed branches are more ripe than the others. But its no problem. If it comes in direction to harvest, You can harvest in stages. At first the ready ones and then in stps the rst of the plant. If you cut away the ripe ones, the other branches have a serious chance to get more light and to maturate.

@nodesign yes its because the buds getting more light have developed more if an entire bud has clouded and amber triches you can harvest it allowing any buds under it to receive more light Those swollen calyxes are a sign she's almost ready
