From what point on do you start counting days and weeks? From the day you put the seed in the starting plug? (less likely), the day she sprouts? the day she show her first true leaves? the day you repot her?

Hello ! My taught : Day one is when the seed get out the soil or when you see cotyledons (generally the same day) . For breeders / seeds company : When the 1st "true leaves" appear ( just after cotyledons). Hope it will help you 👍😁

Hello @Aldanil ! Normally day one is considered the day that the seed sprouts and comes out of the soil but as you can see the growers have slightly different opinions about it . Anyway, if you are growing photo periods and not autos you don't have to worry about counting except from the time you switch to flowering mode. Happy growing ! 👊

I start counting when they first set of true leaves appear, usually that happens the day after the seedling brakes soil.

Hi @Aldanil! In my opinion day 1 should be the day when the seed pops out of the medium. 👊Happy growing

Hey there, for my autos i started the day i put them in a rapid rooter. But different people will do different things, some folks dont really start the diary until two three weeks after sprout others start from germination. Autos take so little time you kinda need to keep track of every week, but for photos especially in soil the first few weeks can seem boring. I kind of enjoy seeing the little ones go so much progress ! It's up to you and whatever helps you cross the finish line at the end of the day - hope this helps !

Personally I’ve always felt that day 1 should start when the seed sprouts. But I’ve seen “seed to harvest” advertised by several breeders, which to me indicates the day the seed was planted. I’m not sure if there is really a right or wrong answer to this question. But I would add that I’ve never harvested in the days/weeks advertised by breeders, it always takes longer in my experience. The plant will tell you when she’s ready, not the calendar. Hope this helps. Good luck!👍
