Looks like your lighting is too strong for this stage. As far as defoliation goes I would lst it then selective defoliate. Autos are not like photoperiod plants when it comes to their advanced speed of growth.

I would appreciate feedback on the defoliation exercise I carried out this week (see videos and pics - before/after defoliation), specifically - should I have defoliated a lot more and if so, should I consider doing that now.. wk 3 of flower?

Dear Members i have a Royal AK before harvest, i'm at the 8th week of the flowering period. I made a picture from the trichomes (last picure), could somebody tell me, should I wait one more week or can I chop it off right now? The picture is taken from a side bud.

Should I attempt any more defoliation at this point? Each plant individually doesn’t have a crazy amount of leaves, but it’s pretty crowded in there, any suggestions?

Defoliate?
Is it too late to give these girls a hair cut? I’ve heard you don’t want to do this in flower stage as it may shock the plant and eliminate necessary mobile nutrients stored in leaves. Also does anyone have tips on an easy way to do this with a scrog net or should I remove it ?

Defolation Question ???
Hey again, my plant is finally flowering and I've already done some defoliation, but the leaves are growing back really fast and I feel like I need to defoliate again? Should I remove more leaves already? Does the plant look healthy and good? What do you think?

Any idea about how to handle the crowding at top? Should I try to trim back or just leave it alone? Seems like the leaves are burning, but keeping flowers off the light.

Just wondering how often I should be doing defoliation? At the moment I’m kind of snipping off a few leaves n new growth as I see them each day. Is that too frequent? Should I wait n do a good amount at once maybe every week?

Not sure what’s going on with “Kings Banner #1”, with its hanging leaves, but have a feeling it’s been over watered. Plants were watered on 6/4, fed on 6/8, and watered again on 6/11. Due to flip to flower and feed on 6/15. Should I wait longer to feed make sure she dries out?
