Day 8 autoflowers; can I change from 24/0 to 18/6 now I'm going to be introducing a more intense light (from 250w cfl to gavita plasma) or am I best leaving 24/0?

Autoflowers are what's called phyto-neutral. Light cycles don't dictate anything for them. Most people run 18/6 because all living things need rest, it saves on electric, or both. To answer your question, yes, you can most definitely switch the light cycle. You may even notice that your plant looks happier once it's getting some rest each day. Happy growing!

Yes you can switch at any time. It will just control how fast, and much it grows. Bigger light does not make a difference in vegging. Less light is generally better to promote growth. So all your doing is reducing how much grow time vs rest time you are providing. Good luck

Yeah you can go to 18 /6 lots of people do that right out of seed i 3ent 24 to week 4 or 5 then switched but they claim you can do that out of the gate you wont want to get to 12 and 12 though autos perform well at 18 and 6

From what I understand, autoflowers are not light-dependent, so you can adjust from 24/0, or 18/6, or 12/12 if you wanted. I believe people keep lights on longer to stretch out as much time as possible to allow for vegetative growth because autoflowers will flip on their own quite early. Hope this helps. Good luck.
