Mars Hyrdo TS600 - 100w but mistook for 600w

I've recently found out that the led light I have which is a Mars Hydro TS600 is not in fact 600w and is actually 100w. Do I need to compensate in any way? My plants look healthy but short, I don't want to put the light too far away that it's ineffective, how close is too close?

I use a light meter app on my phone: PPFD Meter. With it you can measure relatively accurately how much light your plants are receiving. This takes the guesswork out of lighting. And it is more accurate than simply saying "I have 100w do I need more?" When you measure you can instantly see if you need more light which you can remedy with a more powerful light, turning up the power on the light or moving the light closer.

I'm not positive, but it does make sense, that light manufacturers will give a wattage rating based on it's light to watt output ratio equivalent to conventional lights (H.I.D) and then it's actual wattage draw of the L.E.D light. I have a Optic 2 VEG LED i use in my mother tent. It's the equivalent to a 400w HID, but it's max wattage is 165w Again, i could be wrong about that but it makes sense in my mind. One thing they do lie their asses off about is PAR light foot print numbers, and micro moules per joule (bad spelling) You're growing autoflowers inside so right off the bat you've deemed yourself a redheaded step child. Anyways, when seedlings are small they require 50% power on your LED and about 18" from the top of the plants. As they get older you can gradually increase the light intensity and at the same time gradually lower your light. When they are fully matured and into flowering, you can lower your light to 12" off the top of your canopy. But watch carefully for light stress. My light is 11" off the top of the tallest plant and the light dimmer is set to 9 out of 10, to give you some scope.
