Topping autoflower?

I topped my RQS Medusa F1 autoflower at 2 nodes but topped my RQS Milky Way F1 autoflower at 3 nodes. My question is which is better or should I have done it at 4 nodes? This is my first time topping autos and I'm experimenting. Would appreciate some advice. 💚🌱✌️

its up to you actually most growers prefer 4 node but u say u topped at 2 nodes , some say never top or do anything for autos... if you plant look happy then is perfect
btw thanks to you i had idea i want to try my next auto multi topping start from node 2 and see what will happen

I've come to the conclusion that its best to top from 5-6 nodes down to 3rd node. In your case, since it's an autoflower, it's not advised since
1. The part of the plant that you chopped off will not restart grow cycle.
2. Topping is High stress which is said to waste a week of the autoflowers life in recovering instead of growing further.

Topping autos is not advised. On photoperiod plants I remove 1st node, letting 2nd and 3rd grow. Cutting the 4th off. Autos don't have time to recover. It's best to aggressively lst them.

I don’t top less than 4 nodes unless I’m going to again top again.. which isn’t likely advisable for you as it’s an auto

New nodes after topping very small, should I top more?I topped my plants a few days ago, but just the tips when the side nodes where just as little as a few mm. I've seen a lot of you topping like a whole bunch of the top. I mainlined my plants but I dont know if I should top them again so the nodes under the top become main nodes.

Is it bad to top an autoflower at this stage?I accidentally broke off the top of the plant while attempting to low stress train and now it came like this, kinda like topping.. is it bad to stress the plant this much since it's an auto on week 5? Honestly I think it's a mutant as it has lots of growth but stayed quite small.

Light distance and when to top?I'm using a 300W LED. What distance should I keep the lights at now that I've transplanted and the plants are doing well? I'm thinking 24" and then move up as they grow until flipping. Also, when should I top? I've read that waiting for 6-8 nodes is the right way to go.

Flower stretch...top or tuck the super strechers?Should i tuck all the tops that popped up over night? As you see my trellis is right about even with tops in my most recent pic, i swear these bitches grew 4..5 inches over night . Can I clone and mainline that bit I topped?Hi guys, if I top my Amnesia, I mean, literally top them, Like straight cut at the 4th node, maybe? and leave the other 3/4 node above.. May I clone that topped bit? If so, since It should be growing like a normal plant as should be sprouting from the top, may I mainline that?
