Topping an auto flower

I want to top the big wedding cake but I'm worried I waited too late and at the rate she is growing I think she is an auto (wasnt supposed to be). Should I go ahead and top her or just let her go? I have read lots of mixed reviews about topping autos.

Hey there, beautiful healthy Looking plants. 👍I'm no expert, but I'm doing my first auto flower grow under the guidance of some really high end growers, and I was advised not to top them, but to defoliate after preflower and start using Lst with the scrog technique a few days after that. So, I Defoiliated a Gorilla Glue girl on day 30, and Bruce Banner girl on day 31. They had both been in flower for almost 2 weeks. They looked just like your girls do right now before going into preflower. After being in flower for a couple of weeks bud sites were already formed, and got a pretty good stretch so could tell which big fan leaves were blocking bud sites from light. I was told to take off all those big suckers, and did. The girls are recovering at a rapid pace, and I'm now getting ready to start bending them over under the net to really expose the buds, and level out my canopy. I see you already have yours up so you're ready to go if you choose to try these techniques. Eh, Something to think about or check into anyhow.😉 I just posted on my auto flowers Thursday So will be posting what I just described this Thursday if you're interested. Hope this helps.☺️ Happy growing!✌️

Hey Growmie, Topping auto-flowering cannabis strains are often discouraged because plants may not recover in time. Due to their short life cycle, proper timing is crucial to success. So it’s not a matter of whether you should or shouldn’t top autos. It’s more about evaluating how your plants are growing and deciding if the reward is worth the risk in your particular situation. it’s Not Recommended to Top Auto-Flowering Plants if: it’s your first grow, the plant has deficiencies, the plant is drooping, the plant is growing slowly, the plant is more than 3-4 weeks old, the plant has started flowering (little white hairs are growing at the joints), the plant has less than 4 sets of leaves by the end of week 3 (that means the plant is too slow-growing). Hopefully, this was helpful, and remember ..." Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".
