Ducking back in here to tell you I just answered a question someone else had about their autoflower... it is only 3 weeks old and filled with white pistils - grower was concerned it was too early for the plant to be in pre-flower, but it's not. This is what I mean when I say do NOT top an autoflower - you don't know what their schedule is at all... if you top now and they're scheduled to go into pre-flower next week, you'll have lost your grow. But I also wanted to ask why the leaves are all wet? Do not water the plant - water the soil... otherwise you risk burning the leaves as the water will act as a magnifying glass for the light and you'll end up with crispy, burnt, damaged leaves...

For one thing, unless you are a VERY experienced grower, you should NOT top an autoflower. And since you're asking this question.... Do not top it. Autoflowers have a very specific schedule they need to adhere to and topping will stress them very badly.... if it is done improperly or at the wrong time, you run the risk of stressing them so much they will not give you any harvest at all. For autos, the most you should do is some LST.... if you want to get into topping/mainlining/supercropping, grow a photoperiod... Seriously.

Hello! So let's say the main difference is in the type of plant: 1)Autoflowering, you can top from the fifth node if it is healthy enough (doing it earlier risks stunting its growth) 2)Photoperiodic, you can top even at the first node, of course it depends on how you want to grow it In your case I would say wait a few more days (two more nodes), but I don't recommend it, for an auto it's better to do a lst I hope I have been helpful to you! Happy growing!

From what I can see the plant looks ok but imo and I am not a very experienced grower .... at all, but I think it is to early to top. You should give it a bit more time to establish a better root system, also you will have more branches to work with and it will recover faster from stress. Some growers suggest topping when the plant have at least 4 nodes and better at 6. Hope it helps! Good luck and happy growing!
