Check-in- How are we looking? Week 4, Day 2 Question: Are my plants wide enough to now start allowing more vertical growth? I have discovered I love LST! I'm very happy with most of my horizontal growth and am now thinking I should allow more vertical growth. Thoughts?

Hello If you plan to SCROG then continue horizontal growth, but tent will be soon full when you flip to flowering. Be aware to not left of space late in flowering, plants can be stretchy Great cultivar from ETHOS!

I've done lst from seedling for the past 3 years in a small 50 x 50cm tent. Best increase in yield I saw was from getting a bigger tent so I didn't have to lst. I now prefer to SOG with lst during flower, if I'm running out of space and supplementary lighting for the lower canopy. I use the whole plant so the bottom bud sites and small flowers go in to hash. The plant wants to produce as much flower as possible anyway. How you get that potential out is dependent on your style. ๐Ÿ˜

LST is great and you did very well. Personally, I don't think you should allow vertical growth yet, keep spreading the branches because veritcal growth might create unevenness and your bud sites won't be receiving the same amount of light (which you most of the time, want). On the start of flowering, your plants will stretch and at that point you should allow them. Good luck with the rest of your grow and keep it up.

I keep spreading them out till the stretch for flowering starts. So they stay more of a bush structure. Which will keep them lower, and can increase yield. Especially if one wants to stretch a lot. It won't get too close to light. So I would even lst in stretching just not as aggressive. Goof luck, looking good so far. ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿป๐Ÿค›๐Ÿป๐ŸŒฑ
