In the yellow photo, you can see what my plants look like. They are on the 20th day of flowering. Do you think defoliating them would be beneficial? The other photo I found on a diary (The king's choice). Is it a good example to replicate?

i wouldn't do that to a plant - what was done to the king's juice. are leaves overlapping and touching each other? this creates standing water / excess moisture and good to avoid that. LEaves are important piecces of anatomy and you should try to keep every single one you can. only remove leaves for a good reason. light hitting buds doesn't do shit. how well the buds develop and ripen is primarly about apical dominance and that has to do with height. leaves are responsibly for vast majority of photosynthesis, not stems and flower. creating a bunch of holes in your canopy will only reduce potential yield.

Yes but don't go too far, start at the bottom working up. Looking at the pics you've been training them, so you will already have opened up for the light to penetrate to the bottom bud sites. You can even take the bottom bud sites when taking leaves also to focus as much on those top buds as possible. They all look good, defoil or not, I'd do it but be cautious. Don't do it all at once, over a few days.
