Drying options
Mel_Macallanstarted grow question 6y ago
Hi guys! Does anyone here has a technique for drying without a designated closet or tent space? I live in a studio, and don't have a traditional closet i could use. What options would you recommend? I saw there is one using just a paper bag? I'm scaptical about that though...

What’s up guys just harvested my gelato! My dry room sits at 20-25c and 40-55%. I’ve cut all big fan leaves off and hung it all up. In two days I plan to completely trim and then re hang to finish drying. Does that sound like a good idea? Any tips are appreciated. Many thanks!Week 14

Humidity whilst dryingHoping someone could help. I’ve got my buds up drying but my RH is 70% and will not come down. I have it in a growing tent so I has air intake and carbon filter with a osculating fan AND a dehumidifier. Although it’s at 70% RH will it be ok?

Cardboard box drying outdoors?I dont have a place in my house to let them dry, plus I dont have a de/humidifier.
I’d dry them in a sheltered place, in a cardboard box but still outside, averages 60-70% humidity, i would cut holes both sides for ventilation but keep light out and put boveda packs 65% Thoughts?

Ready to chop? Ambering trichs on a couple of colas but not on others...Does the Council of Wise Growers feel ready to call "chop" on my 86 day from germination Purple Chill Auto? Some colas have nice ambering (see close up of trichs) and others not. Sugar leaves haven't started dying. Last time I ran this pheno went 91 days (see diary).

Urgent: Overfed DWC early harvest - TravellingMy grow hits 60 days on August 25 but I have to fly on August 28. I also just stopped giving nutes yesterday but should have tapered sooner, especially cal/mag. I want to do a flush/dark period/chop/wet trim/wash/hang dry before I fly. Besides the help I've been getting from you guys I've been comparing my trichomes to this image.... Is it accurate? 🤔
How long would it take for the second image to mature to the third image and is it worth the wait? 🤔
And that would also depend on the strain as well I bet 🧐
