After they come out of the seedling stage is best. So, that's when the leafs will split and start pushing out your 1st set of nodes. Tends to take 10 days or so before they most will leave seedling stage. Good Growing

As soon as you have strong rooting system they'll be shooting out the bottom like no tomorow once they fill the pot 🤞

If you are doing this in your garden a trick you can do is cut the bottom off a clear plastic bottle and place it over the seed;ing this way you can keep away hungry birds and nasties that want to eat your plant it also has the added bonus of adding extra humidity to :) Best of luck :D

You can use 5 gallon grow bags for the first month and get them inside during nighttime till the temperatures won't drop below 15 degrees during night time and them let those roots enjoy the 20 gallon bags!

can't predict weather.. every region is a bit different. i live in michigan and planting outside before May is risky. we've had several frosty nights at end of this april alone. think you are bit furhter north than i am? latitdue? but probably very similar context nonetheless. Early may is looking shitty... i'd wait. in the meantime, yoe may want to expose them to increasing hours of sunlight each day. See any light damage or major wilting, it's too much for them and they'll need to be hardened off to it. historical reference.. other ppl in area will be much better at giving a specific date.
