Am growing blue kush my golly they just don't stop stretching am using lst as in near middle of 3 wk of bloom an do not want to disturb to much how much longer will they grow they are averaging 3 to 5 inches per day using vitalink nutes

Hello Puppylove, the rapid growth stops around 3 weeks after you notice the first signs from flowering. This stage called pre flowering stage and it is easy to know for a next time that Indica plants double their size and Sativa plants triples their size during this stage. Enjoy your grow!

Upward growth usually slows down around the 3rd week of flower. Once the budlets start getting bigger, you’ll notice a slowdown as they start using their energy to make buds instead of getting taller. They may still get a bit taller, but it won’t happen quite as fast. Good luck 👍

I have a 1200W Veg/Bloom LED which is currently 20" above Martha. I am also LSTing her and am getting good solid growth from the lowest branches which are working to reach up. I am wondering if raising the light 4-6" and try to stimulate some vertical growth. Is this a good idea?
