Flowering

42 days in and not seeing great signs of flowering. Another strain I have is 35 days in and pistils everywhere. Should I be concerned? Same nutes, water, soil, and tent.

Hello Mnbuds, when I look at your diary I can see that she started to grow (stretch) a lot faster this week compare to the weeks before. I do expect that she starts to flower (show pistils like your carmelicious) within a week from now. If not then there is just 1 option left and that is to give her 12 hours darkness per day to trigger the flowering phase (I would give her max 2 more weeks from now before doing this). But be patient and I do really believe that she will start to flower very soon!

either it is an auto or it is not.. if changing light hours triggers it, then it's a photoperiod and you better stick to that new scheduel or it'll just revege. it happens sometimes. either contamination or poor breeding process, or maybe it's just a small percentage chance based on breeding process of autos, i'm not sure. the point is sometimes you'll get a photoperiod. 6weeks isn't the longest vege period for an auto, so there's still plenty of hope. after 8 weeks, i'd start getting concerned, lol. worst case scenario you gotta prune it back a bit and then put it on 12/12 light schedule for 8-10 weeks.

From my understanding its probably just genetics. Try reducing the amount of light hours both plants get and see if it triggers flowering.
