RQS F1 Harvest time

Wait another week and a half to two weeks. I’m harvesting mine today! They say it flowers for 35-40 days. You are only on day 28. They add a lot of weight towards then end.

i'd wait.. can always take some bits off and stagger the harvest. learn what part of harvest window you prefer etc... i see pics of leaves. remember to only look at trichomes on the calyxes when using them as a guide. trichomes pistils density of colas... use more than 1 metric. it'll keep you more consistent. Not all trichomes amber up, for example. Some plants will rot on the stem before you see 50% amber, lol. That's when you lean on other observable traits. this is way more art than science. experiment. don't trust others. find what you like. think of how Nyquil impacts some differently.. some pass out into a deep coma, others get hyperactive. shouldn't assume what others report is what you will feel. these sound like it's still too early even for early window harvest. figure 5-10% amber all over - not just 1 location - is early window. you take it much before that and the buds shrink even more when drying. you are close enough it's good to start scoping those triches each day, though. Like i said, you could harvest the bulk when you think you'll like it, but yu can also take off a cola here and there as you go. mark the date and rough % of amber and you can compare later.

Looks almost there, im pretty sure if you cut, dry and cure it it will be good enough. I'd personally give it one more week at least. My rule is that after most hairs turned orange i leave it for one two max 3 weeks. to get nice colors and fat buds.. I also only care for my plants in the last weeks before harvest because that is the time when the plant is very prone to mold or changing sex.

You've already answered the question pal. Still loads of clear trichs on there, patience is key, you don't want to spend the time and effort to then rush the harvest. You said at the end you feel its too early and you're correct. Keep flushing her, it won't be long.
