Did it turn hermie and if yes - what to do (not sure the two other plants are affected, but they might be...) Will check them soon.

I am about to harvest 3 plants where I suspect one has turned hermie - it also smells quite weird (2 plants have the same strain, but this one has a musky smell whereas the other is fruity). Should I toss it if it is a hermie (sure I found seeds in a wet nugget)?

If you have found seeds then it was pollinated weeks ago. 2 scenarios here . It was a full hermaphrodite that produced pollen sacs. These have a lot of pollen and will have likely pollinated all the plants. These are green balls growing from where a bud would have started. I would ride it out and use seeds and salvage bud. Tho these seeds may be predestined to do the same. This is all likely genetics. Two. The plant was stressed and popped out some nanners at some point. Hopefully not many and therefore not many pollinated buds. A way to tell is the pistil hairs will turn brown early. Either way just ride it out now and salvage what you can. Some more pics of the main stem + branches elbows may help a bit more Seen you may have chopped. What was the damage?

If you have found seeds in the buds its way to late to do much about it as its around 3 weeks from pollinated to the seeds forming and I am sorry for saying this but it will have affected the other plants in your area I'd chop the lot and start again with fresh seeds and clean everything well before you start over as pollen is nasty and it will keep pollinating your plants if you don't clean everything well it's horrible to have hermie plants and I have been having a hard time with them as well so your not alone and I'm so sorry for your loss happy growing

Hi Creepy_Steve, and thanks for the reply :) Done some searching meanwhile, and as you also describe, nanners would probably be quite distinct and I don't see any (only what look like seeds forming some places). The other plants I could also not find any nanners, but it's the first time growing, so I might not be experienced enough. But I have found seeds in that specific plant (not clones but from the same seedpack), however, I read that female plants can sometimes in the end produce seeds (https://www.quora.com/Can-unpollinated-cannabis-sometimes-produce-seed). This might be the case with this one? Also, the smell is just so different from the other plant (Both auto imperium X), and the one suspected (which is also the one I see is the furthest into flowering) has what I would describe as fresh grass, old cheese and a bit of lemon - which might end up tasting quite good, but the smell is not that great compared to the other. I might just harvest and dry it to test (I also suspected mold due to the musky smell but I cannot see any signs of that either)

the different smell isn't an indicator. unless they were clones of each other, it is simply genetic diversity. do you see any nanners or pollen sacs? they look distinctly different. do a google image search as that is better than what i can describes.. but they are called nanners for a reason, the yellow banana-looking bit will stand out (lime green early on when developing). Pollen sacs are even more obvious. when they open up that's the real danager. a lone nanner doesn't often produce a ton of pollen, but a pollen sac has a full compliment of anatomy and absolutely will seed your entire garden with 1 sac and good circulation. they look slightly like calyxes, but no hairs projecting from them. again, a google image search will help. add "hermie" so you can see female plants producing them as opposed to just male plants in the search. but, you'll get a much better view of it on a male plant. familiarize yourself with the anatomy and then it's not a guess later.
