When people are putting their ppm in diaries are they showing us the TDS going in or coming out in the runoff? I know you measure both but I want to compare.

TDS pens measure EC, which is converted to PPM.. it's not 100% accurate. this is why you see several different conversion factors depending on the manufacturer of teh TDS pen. 500 scale vs 700 scale for example.. even EC has a version where the decimal is shifted a few spots. still the same digits. 1.2 EC or 1200 EC etc. jusst saw that one the other day in questions.. thought they mis-typed but after google learned soemthing new. I calculate ppm from the guaranteed analysis labels. along with a periodic table and a calculator it's fairly easy. make a spreadsheet and it calculates from label inputs. never have to do the work a second time. if oyu have dry nutes feel free to download my spreadsheet. manic botanix has an online calculator too. if you compare my sheet to their's ith anything using specfic gravity (some liquids depending on w/w% or w/v% labels) and they match, then my sheet handles specific gravity too,lol... my nutes are dry. i don't have to worry about specific graavity so i never verified i set it up right. link in my main gd profile page in comments. sort by date should be newest or near the top. think there's an ec conversion chart in that shared folder too.. leaf symptom chart, mulder's chart.. .
