Pre-Harvest Signs?

High Wescoas, Yes I always do the same! When more then half of the pistils are brown Instart to look at the trichomes with a x60 pocket microscope 2 times a week. This way you learn how to indicate the different colours and you notice change. The plant is at full potency when most of the trichomes are miljy white and between 10-20% amber. Happy Harvest! 😋

I check the trichome and take the strain into consideration. For more energetic strain I harvest when most of the trichomes are cloudy, or at first sign of amber ones. For he stone-glue-kind maybe I wait some day to see more amber trichome, but not too much. I still like to be more on the THC side.

I harvest based off of trichome color. If there are any clear trichome heads, I wait until they are cloudy. Then, I harvest. I hope this helps.
