De-foliate in 5th week of flower? Scrogged Photoperiod.

I'm currently in the middle of 5th week of flowering. I've noticed a big boom in leaves in the last weeks. Should she have a hair cut this far in, or will I be robbing "absorbing" leafs? She is Scrogged. 520watts LED, 5x5, LST, HST, Nutes.

I really think it depends on your growing medium. From what I have used things take longer to come back from Soil than from Hydro. When I'm growing hydro ill defoiliate up until the last couple weeks. The plant responds quickly and it seems to make the plant hardier, more thc. It could be the buds getting more light from less leaf block. Or it could be the buds have more nutes going to them now. When i grow in Soil, or out door, ill usually let nature do its thing and stop trimming at flower. I think its up to how you think she has responded so far, every grow is a little different.

I personally do not believe in defoliation at all........if your plant would not need those leaves, it would not grow them in the first place! I also believe that defoliation during flowering is the worst possible time to do such plant torture. Just remember....... Less leaves = less energy production = less growth.
