Small auto

So this is a update they are now day 17 since sprouting out of the soil. They are autos and I'm convinced they are to small either from me getting used to watering or transplanting. Are they small for day 17 and should I start fresh. I want a decent yield.
Solved
Plant. Too short

Not to small at all. Count the first 7 day from seed as germination and seedling stage. On day 8 from seed you will then start Week 1 Day 1 of veg. So technically yours is only 10 days old bro. Their doing great. Look at my grows, their the same. Check out my previous grows, I just harvested for my first time 3 weeks ago. I got 24oz from 5 plants in a 4x4 tent. All autos. Biggest plant yielded me 7oz. They take time to start but will take off at mind warping speed I promise. My sour stompers diary has DETAILED photos and logs of everything including defoliation. It will help you I believe. I w Documented almost everything I could think of on that diary. Goodluck. DM me if you need help. Please consider selecting me as the answer so I can be entered for a chance to win grower of the month contest I would really appreciate your support growmie 🙏 😃

They look fine ! Auto's should always start off life in their forever home & transplant shock can set back the time they take. These look healthy, be patient. Goodluck

The strain is blackberry by 420 and takes 9-10 weeks if that helps.

You won't achieve a decent yield in just normal soil with autos. They do very poorly in soil. They need a coco/perlite mix Or grown with another form of Hydro application. You should start a auto in its final container. Never top or transplant a auto. Coco is not treated like soil to grow in if you change to it in future grows. It is high irrigation, and more maintaining then soil.

They really do seem short, look up how long the strain usually takes, if its a really fast flowering one i would consider starting new, if its a strain that takes a bit longer, i would continue

They are still rooting, let them babies grow. It could be the genetics or maybe you stunted them but unless you know exactly what you did to ‘stunt’ then I wouldn’t waste more seeds starting over. You might just get the same results! I’d keep going with this grow and see if you can figure it out and get them to thrive first before popping more seeds. Your first yield might not be stellar (or it might! it’s too soon to tell!) but what you learn will help ever future grow be more successful. So my advice is to stick with them.
