Okay to harvest plant after cutting off bud rot infection

I certainly did find more rot, but there was still a lot that was good. Although I am a little wary of smoking the plant I am also pretty excited because the plant was so sticky! Thank you everyone for your advice!

No worries. Just discard the affected bud site, and carry on with the harvest. You're fine.

As long as you cut away the infected buds you should be perfectly fine, the thing is there could be a lot more buds affected by the bud rot than you know.

Cut off every rotten buds and throw them away. For the others, I recommend to do a 2 buckets Bud Washing (Food Grade ~0.05% H₂O₂ solution + water) to prevent infection reaching others during drying. The two buckets should be between 20 and 22°C (68~72°F), the water slight colder, to prevent the trichomes from falling off.
