anywhere between 5.8 and 6.2 is where i like things.

5.8 veg, 6.1 to 6.2 flowering. Recalibration of ph pen regularly is highly recommended. .1 ph is a big difference in Hydro.

I never keep my pH at one spot, it needs to bounce a little because there is no one magic sweet spot where ALL nutes can be absorbed. You just don't want it to fluctuate too wildly. 5.5-6.5 is the range you want. The main thing to remember when you pH a hydro system is the aeration will cause spikes, so corrections will be required if you're pHing your solution while still.

Keep at 5.8 through veg, and 6.2 to 6.3 for flower time.

6.0 to 6.4 is generally acceptable.
