My 60x60 tent gets very full
I would like to defoliate it, am starting week 3 flowering.
I have seen some tutorials on the internet where a lot of the leaves are removed by week 3 ?
Is this a good advice ?
can and should I do it like in the picture from the internet ?

Fan leaves block light. By removing select ones you can increase your yield by opening up more bud sites exposing them to light. Tuck and bend where you can but you can remove 50% of the foliage off a plant and you will be fine. Do it now though if you are around 3 weeks in. After 21 days i would say it's too late and the shock of the defoliation will impair the yield.

I would at the very least selectively remove a few in center so light gets deeper in plant. As far as removing as many as seen in the picture at this time is too aggressive in my opinion. Since those leaves are her solar panels for producing energy to form your colas. In a few weeks it would be better after she is done bulking. As long as you have a good drying environment to work with.
