Hello growmies,
does anyone know what kind of insect this is? if so, whats the remedy?
I'm seeing a few of them on my plants... every day a few more
these are the best pictures I could make, gotta zoom abit :D
Get some wind blowing around on those plants. Raise your humidity and drop your temps if you can. Make the environment hostile to them. Then fog every 3 days with Pyrethrin based fogger. Fog at lights out and make sure the exhaust fan is off for at least an hour after you've fogged the area. Every 3 days for 2 weeks and you'll kill them all and their eggs that have hatched.
Looks like a larva more than an insect the only elongated insect I have come across like that is a thrip but thrips can jump and fly. They are lot easier to get rid of then those immortal fungus gnats if that is the case. I used Sevin or Neem oil to get rid of them and a lot of other pest
