Seed or a strange rupture of a calyx? I don't see any other signs of hermaphrodism or pollination elsewhere.

I have no signs of pollination elsewhere, and this bud (and the whole plant) continues to produce new calyxes/pistils. 8 full weeks of flower so they're nearly ripe anyway. What's going on with that calyx? I saw some broscience about "false seeds", but wasn't convinced

Certainly looks like a seed. Do nothing, too close to harvest to worry about. Pollen would have been introduced 3-5 weeks ago, looking for evidence now would be pointless. A seeded calyx or two can't effect anything else, no need to stress.

From time to time on some plants i get one or two random seeds, despite rest beeing perfect. Would not stress at all. Would not touch , do nothing. Relax, sharpen your scissors;) Happy Harvesting !

Looks like a seed popping out. Maybe there was a nanner or some pollen introduced at some point. Seeds cant form without pollen, Good Luck!

Looks like she hermed, but i can't make out the real shape from the picture. This doesn't mean she has to show signs elsewhere or ever again, nor will she stop producing. Can have been temporary stress. I would check the other buds really carefuly though. And remove the calyx anyway, better save then sorry.
