Hi. It turns out that automatic seeds are feminized, but some plants may be hermaphrodites (therefore male and female on the same plant).
These hermaphrodites can be made up of 50% male flowers and 50% female flowers (approximate average that I have seen on regulars).
But it happens regularly on automatic machines that you have a plant with more than 95% of female flowers and therefore a small percentage of male flowers which are sometimes well hidden (but you should know that the male flowers appear a little before the female flowers is are therefore normally detectable), which can give some seeds in your female flowers!
As for putting them to germinate, you should know that when the female flowers have reached their optimal maturity, the seeds which are likely to be inside are not they yet quite arrived at their point of maturity! In my experience, the seeds require at least 1 short additional week. But nothing prevents you from putting them to germinate, I already had a nice surprise on seeds that I did not think viable!
Good luck with your next generation! ✌️
