Honestly don't, let the plant show you how to defoliate, defoliation is merely expediting what the plant will eventually discard itself, every leaf is a generator of total energy available, unless your maxing out ppfd you want as much photosynthesis happening as possible at this point In flower, far too often ,myself included get excited and start ripping veg leaves of left right and centre, the plant will not be able to replace those satellite leaves as it is now focused on flowering to survive.
