To top again? Or not to top again? That is the question. I'm working in a 2x4x5 tent so my height is limited. Not sure if I should flip now, or top the two mains again and flip at the end of this week? First photo grow so this is just one of many. Thanks fellow growers!

If it was on me I just top once! Every time you top the main stem is divided so main colas get "smaller" looks like you still have some room. So why dont you instead of topping just tie down and try to keep the canopy even. You could wait a couple of weeks more before flipping. Keep it growing horizontal until you flip and then let the stretch grow vertical you should have enough space. I grow on a 2x3x4 tent and I veg till week eight and still have room by the end.. the most important thing is to keep your canopy even. You can take a look at my diary of white widow its growing right now!

When you flip her plan on her typically doubling in height, sometimes more, sometimes a little less. If youve got minimal space definitely plan on flipping after to measure her and get an approximate size. I feel like most people top the once, and maybe then top the next 2..for that nice flatter shape. She looks beautiful already. You've done amazing if this is your first photoperiods.

Hi bud, I’d say if you’re limited for height, top again, shes strong enough to recover quickly being as old as she is, plus she looks healthy with is a big plus. The only down side to topping again is you’ll get a nicer yield. Keep it simple and she will reward you in the end. Give it about 4-5 days after topping then flip her to 12/12. Give me a shout if you need any advice.

Well, it really depends on how may tops per sq ft you want. But if you do top again, be sure to give it a week before switching, so the new tops develop. You could top the top most colas so the lower ones catch up in height, so to have a more even canopy. I prefer a canopy full of tops, so I tend to promote a lot of colas, 16 to 20 per sq ft.
