Excessive streching, or is it normal?

Excessive streching, or is it normal? What should I do to get more control for automatic genettics to avoid streching. My guess is that this time, with healthy plants, and 3 in the 60x60 tent, they compited for light. I didn't have a fan and ventilation is poor, would it be that?

If you've no ventilation. Your heat Vs the cold when lights are out causes stretching in pre flower Keeping the temp within 5-6c is crucial for non stretching durin pre flower.. You could HST on the last few days of pre flower coming in to fattening. Tieing down the nodes (supercropping)

just bent the tops over if they get to tall. some strains just stretch more. I did this on some of my autos that where to tall for the tent. some HST and snap the main cola on its side so it does no touch the light and get burnt to a crisp. Good Luck!

high heat and humidity can cause some stretch. Congestion can cause stretching too, because low-light hitting leaves (all of the shielding of tightly spaced stalks) will make it reach for more light. Genetics is a primary factor, of course. Everything will be relative to the genetics. go for 2-3 colas per sq ft.

4 plants + one bucket = massive competition = excessive stretching. In future, 1 bucket, 1 plant.

some strains have sativa dominance so they will stretch quite a lot in future you can use training techniques like lst or hst to keep the canopy even and avoid the legginess
