You definitely did some pruning! In my experience, autoflowers do not like to be stressed. That trim job might stress them and you might see some stunted growth. Or they might explode with growth. Autos are funny that way and can be unpredictable. I've had autos grow as big as my photoperiod plants and I've had autos do nothing more than a single small stem. Either way, you've already trimmed, so you'll have to see how they respond. If they don't respond well, you'll know better for next time. If they explode with growth, then you will know that for the next time, too! Good luck!

New grower - advice on what to do with this growth below the canopy.What can I do with this growth under the canopy? I've removed a few leaves to create a canopy and increase airflow (i also have limited space), and still have some growth on the branches. Dont want them turning into colas. Week 7 SCROG vs Defoliation question I'm in the middle of week 6 of flower, both strains are expected to finish at 8 or 9 weeks. Plants are crowded. Buds aren't as big as I was expecting. I'm not sure if I should leave the SCROG canopy to boost the crowns, or defoliate to get more light to the lower bud sites.

Is it time for light defoliation?These plants are all 4 almost 5 weeks since seed. Top leaves on the large one at the back are shadowing those beneath it. A couple leaves at the bottom are extremely limp due to not receiving enough light. Is it time for a light defoliation? How do I distinguish which leaves?
