I was wondering how healthy she is looking for day 8? I'm running a Promix Organic seedling starter to start as I heard Fox Farms is a bit "hot" for starting. Running X5 COB w/ real wattage of ~250W at 23". Light placement is my biggest concern.

Hello! What I know about light is that a 600w Hps need to be at 24" from the top and a 250hps at 8" mostly because of the heat production , now you are running 5× 50w led that are producing less heat and your are at 24" : I would put them a bit lower except if you are doing that for a better light repatriation. Now your temps are almost perfect ( 17°C during nightime is only 1°C below the recommended temp ). Your air humidity is to low for that stage , you should be around 70/80% and 40% is for the end of flowering so try to use an humidifier or cut a bottle and make 3 holes to make a dome for more humidity. I hope it will help you 😁✌️🏼

Hey there @ccore! For day 8 I don't see anything to worry about just yet. Looking at the soil around the little guy however it looks like you are watering to the edges of the container. If this is the case I would advise against this because the seedling is still young and doesn't require much to drink! This ends up with access water left in the soil changing the PH and denying proper oxygen intake by the roots. Primarily with soil and seedlings you just want to be sure that you are aware of what is inside the soil to begin with. You don't want a soil that contains nutrients that you are unaware because it could lead to nutrient burn and lockout. To answer your question: Shes doing just fine for hitting day 8 and you are on your way! Hope this helps resolve your question Ccore! If you need anything else feel free to ask! 😎

hi(gh) ccore! i'm driving with 4x cree cxb3590 at total wattage of 300W. Currently they runs in 150W for 1qm / 10sq of room. I've measured the lx at the middle of the room and build a chart for each distance. Currently the distance is 39" / 1m from the floor and measured on top of the plants about 8700 - 9100 lx ...(plants dont stand on floor (look @ my pictures))- Distance to plants I must measure... I failed in the first week with the distance, so my Plants wouldn't grow much more cause they get too much light. Hope this Info would help you a little...

Hi @ccore! Indeed, FoxFarm's soil is a bit hot for seedlings, but the THC Bomb has a high tolerance to nutrient intakes and she should be fine with your medium. Your plant-to-lamp distance seems good, watch carefully the height evolution everyday so you can adjust it when needed. You're doing absolutely fine with this baby, keep up the great work and happy growing 👊

hi there @ccore, I'm seeing the begining of some problems, i'm not liking how this seedlings is doing just yet. I think that the small container it's in is making it hard to keep moist. Yes, you do need to have a strict wet dry cycle, but you don t want to keep your seedling dry for too long that's the thing! it will lead to these sort of tortured looks on the leaves from the PH fluctuations due to the wet / dry cycle that lasts too long. Mainly it's the lights that are drying the medium too quick, that's a lot of light concentrated at 90° on a seedling, you can probably go 1/2 or 2/3 strength for the first two weeks , keeping it at around 40-50 cm to avoid the stretch, which has already started. Hope this helps brother ! 🚀

Hi there! I'm glad you chose THC bomb. I have nothing, but good things to say about this strain. The potency of the smoke and massive yields are great to begin with. For me your plant looks great for this age. One thing you would want to consider though is rising the humidity to at least 55% (rh) and maybe look to raise the daily temps to around or above +25C. IMO you can move the lights a bit closer if you think it's needed, but not closer than 45 cm. Patience is the key. If you really think she is growing too slow, you should start by providing the perfect conditions and not worry too much about the lights. I hope I could help a little. Happy growing and good luck! 👍
