It is definately something which i personally have seen only once in over a decade. Its a rare chromosome defect, i think its called either haploid or diploid set of chromosomes. The Plant will also have a lot of leaves but i think its still worth growing it out. Cheers

No. Natural polyploid plants are almost impossible. There is a name for this mutation, but I can not remember what, but it has nothing to do with being polyploid.
