Northern Lights Auto, quite short and bushy, fan leaves shielding light - should I defoliate?

First time grower with a quite short Northern Lights Auto in week 6. The fan leaves seem to shield a lot of light from the inner leaves, also touching ground. Should I trim the fan leaves? Or should I keep them, since it already seems stressed enough for it's short life…

it's tough to be certain, but you may need a bit less light to promote a bit longer internodes.. or it's just a runty plant.. flip a coin. no.. don't defoliate the large solar panels to get light on tiny leaves.. this would be a net-negative. read the 'to defoliate or not' in dr photons corner of cocoforcannabis website... it covers this topic thoroughly.

i think you stunted it cuz of hot soil, so first month no growth.. and then suddenly did something and now u have this, and you wanna give it more stess??? first learn see what it does and keep it healthy.. start again get different soil maybe better light and enjoy the learning curve.

i guess too hot soil which destroyed your first month, and very strong genetics that you still made it.
