I found a Pholcus phalangioides spider or (daddy long leg) hanging under a 5 Gal plant pot. Not that I'm concerned I'm just curious what its eating. Every plant I have grown has ben from seed or a clone I have personally cut.

Hello. Spiders are helpers. Don't kill them. This species is known as harvesters. They eat what they come across. Like the old nomads they have to roam around till they find something good to eat and when it gone they have to roam around again. I would suggest leave it alone and you will probably find it dead in the corner in a week or so, or you could trap it and put it outside on the ground, they don't climb so well. Hope that helped. Chuck.

might just be their as the environment is ideal for them. Spiders like semi most as that's where bugs are they eat. they also love corners. and tight spaces.
