Too many? Too big?
Puffdamagikchillum
started grow question 6y ago
Are these huge fan leaves gonna create a problem with the growth of this plant?? Can these be taken off to give new growth underneath some light without damage to the plant?? Or just leave her be?

Don't take them off they absorb a lot of light. Wait and LST if there is a problem.

Defoliating the auto on the late flowering stage
The canopy is very dense with a huge amount of small leaves I can't tuckle because of their size. It's a deep stage of flowering. So I wander is it safe to cut 30-50% of leaves to improve light penetration or it would be better to leave it as is?

I defoliated heavily starting week 6, but now 5 days later it's getting pretty dense again. Shall I do another round or would it stress her out and mess with her photosynthesis? Please see diary for the progress.

Possible Over Watering. Can I get an experts look?
My plants leaves are looking droopy and condensed. I am worried that I may be watering them too much. I water them with a gallon of water every 3 days with 3 teaspoons of "Grow Big" added and mixed into the water pot. Do they look normal for a 4 week old plant?

Is my seedling a mutant or could this be due to half the seed husk taking longer than usual to fall off and deforming the growth of the first leaves?

Should I defoliate? Is it too late to defoliate (Autoflower)?I want to use photosynthesis from leaves as much as possible, but worry light will not penetrate to hidden buds. Will buds in shadow still develop but at slower rate - or will they be airy, popcorn buds at harvest?

Should I defoliate more at this point in flowering or wait until a later stage when buds start to form? Also airflow is good on undergrowth and sides but is my room overcrowded?

Should I defoliate my 7-week old autoflower
It’s very bushy and some bud sites are covered with leaves. I’ve been tucking those leaves to improve light coverage but I’m not sure if this is enough.

Wondering if I should defoliate? Seems to be contradicting opinions on defoliating autos, would like to have some feedback as this one has a LOT of leaves. Thanks!

Should I be looking at more defoliation on my plants? I am ending the first week of flower and already they seem crazy bushy. I know its not recommended in flower but I feel like I have a lot of fan leaves that may be in the way of bud sites. Let me know if you need more pics.

Early flower stage advise
So the branches are kind of short and my lighting area for bloom iss also 30x30 in a 60x60 tent. Should I try to open the canopy more with LST? Defoliate more in the middle? Or maybe both? Maybe I should leave it like that... Im excited about the flowers and don't want to f*ck up
