In my experience using a different led with veg and bloom switches, I recommend using the veg switch by itself while in veg (my brand recommends 24” distance from plant tops during veg). Then in late veg, I turn on the bloom switch in addition to the veg switch, but I follow the 18” above the canopy rule. That gives the plant the full spectrum and provides me with amazing results. Follow your brand’s recommendation for light distance, but in the case of your auto flower, as soon as you see the plant shifting from veg to bloom, turn on the bloom switch and set the light distance.
