Hey man! Don't spray with your lights on indoors and outdoors during daytime when direct sunlight hits your plants, also foliar feed is best applied when the lights turn on/sunset or when they are about to get off/sundown, at this time the plants will absorb the most of it, also i never had nute burn from folair feed, maybe you got light burn because the water sprayed on your plants acted like a lense. Also at this point of flower you shouldn't foliar spray, i personally do it till week 4 of flower (grow phase sprays throughout whole VEG till end of week 1 flower, 2-4 week of flower i also foliar spray but with bloom fertilizers- also organic, the ones i use are BioTabs BoomBoom Spray (1x week) and Plagron Alge Grow (daily) for the growth phase and Plagron Algae Bloom (daily) & Sugar Royal (2x week) for the flowering phase- works great!

Hello @Spacegenetics ! The nutrient burn is a different thing from light burn caused by spraying. I make teas more or less the way i make a regular tea to drink. I am bring some water at around 70 celcius and i use 1 tbsp/L of water, let it cool and spray. I don't want to go over 70 because i want to keep as many thermo sensitive compounds i can but i also don't go under 70 because i want to extract as much as i can. Most of the times i use kelp but i also use some times nettle or dehydrated aloe vera. If you don't want to use heat at all you can just bubble it for one day. I tried both ways and they work fine. These teas will not burn your plants and they will give them a lot of exotic compounds like hormones and other stuff. If you don't want to make your own you can buy them. Some decent stuff is alg-a-mic and .active vera from bio bizz and from GHE urtica and bio weed. I usually spray after any kind of training and plants come back in matter of hours.Happy growing ! 👊

DO NOT spray your foliage. Usage your humidity to help you leaves. Even when you grow outdoors it is recommended that you gently shake as much water off of the plant as you can. If you are not able to sustain a good humidity in your grow area, try using a humidifier. I have also been known to mist the upper area above the plants insurance I am not misting water on the leaves. Also to further help your leave and plant in general; add 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds to the top of your soil. This will naturally add: calcium, nitrogen, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium to your plant. If you look at the first picture you will see the thinning of the leaves. Yes thin long leave are indicators of a plant being Sativa or Sativa dominant, but near you stem of the leaf it should be thicker and more lustrous. The thinning is a lack of nutrients your plant needs. All in all good job.

Hi @Spacegenetics! Unless you're in a canicular weather with crazy hot temps and really intense sun, you can use a foliar spray during the daytime. However, don't over-do it, leaves need to breath and sweat, having a continuous wet surface might not help. In my grow room I use 3 foliar-sprays. The first one is homemade, it's a mix of water and neem-oil, it helps to prevent pests invasion. The second one is "LeafCoat" from BioBizz, it creates a thin layer over the leaves and protect them from invaders and over-sweating. The third one is made with "Alg-a-mic" from BioBizz and I only use it when the plant is suffering from stress or when my soil is "too hot" for a regular feeding. Hope this helps, keep us up-to-date and happy growing! 👊

Composte tea spray:mixture of water, compost (sometimes humus or worm castings), and organic nutrients such as molasses, kelp, fish emulsion, and yucca. Fish products are high in organic nitrogen; kelp is a wonderful source of minerals, particularly potassium, while algae has a range of trace elements and hormones beneficial for cellular development. Research suggests that natural sea salt contains a vast range of trace elements. Do any or all of this is a very diluted form. Best of luck. Love the organic. 💚

From my understanding, the "water on leaves during the daytime" thing is a myth. It rains during the daytime with the sun shining on plants all the time & they don't burn up. As long as your plant is in veg & not flowering, feel free to foliar feed all you want. They like the extra humidity in veg but once buds pop up, foliar feeding/watering puts them at risk for bud rot so you'll want to stop. I used a spray bottle to apply grass clipping tea (natural source of potassium & nitrogen) in Week 4 during lights on & no leaf burns resulted.

I use a Norwegian kelp extrAct. Kelp/algae is definitely the safest. Be careful with the pH of your foliar spray you’ll want it slightly acidic. And dontfoliar feed more than once a week or you’ll burn the leaves. Good luck

Hey what your using now is prefect for foliage spray “kelp and fish emulsion” you could add a little Epsom salts. Use “gentle” soap then the water won’t pool on the leaves and you won’t suffer any burn. From the pic you’ve posted your plant look like it needs a feed and the soil is a little on the dry side. I’m a disbeliever in watering with lots of run off. You don’t need to in soil as you’re washing all the micro organisms and beneficial bacteria/fungi out of the soil by doin it.
