Because it is in a tiny cup that is only half filled, which is restricting root development. Clear plastic cups are a no-no too.

Is bad if my auto outdoor seed receive less than 8hrs of light?Hi, Currently I’m in the week 2 with a seedling Tangie auto from BSF and in the week 1 with a Al auto from fastbuds, both outdoor I’m in the end of summer and I notice that I have 6hrs of direct sun light per day? Is this bad for my plants or they can live with this sun light?

Do you poke holes in ur seedling dome cups?When using plastic cups to dome seedlings (never have so just curious) do you poke holes in the cup for ventilation? I’m aware the point is to help increase humidity during early stages which I’d like, but do they need vent holes?

Drooping leaves and purple underside of leaves in seedling. (Pics in Diary) Pls help!I'm on day 11, under 315cmh (20") from tops of plants. I am watering with 6.2ph well water. Temps 65-75. Promix HP is grow medium. Pots have adequate drainage. The Gelatos are drooping, stems are reddish and the underside of the leaves are purple. What am I messing up??

Correct DWC water level for seedlings and throughout growth periods Hi everyone. My net pots are in 5 gallon buckets (see attached), sitting so the bottom 2-3" of clay pellets are submerged (dashed red line). The seeds were sprouted in rockwool. Is this the right water level? When do I start dropping it to promote root growth??
