Why? - Same genetics: one smells, one doesn't.

Number 4 (Amnesia Haze photoperiod) started smelling of cannabis since her 2nd week of veg. Her 3 sisters before her didn't smell of cannabis, not even in bloom.. Why? What alters the smell of plants from the same genetics, when all other conditions are the same?

This is called phenotypes every strain has several different types of plants, which leads to different optical taste and smell, and then there are some mutations like in lemon haze that don't get good terps and very fluffy buds. Amnezia Haze has a specific smell that is present at the beginning of flowering, it seems to me that you got with the other two a different phenotype. Wait for their development, for sativa It is normal to get the full potential in really late stages of flowering.

Genetic recombination during meosis is why. This is why human siblings are not exactly alike, too. sex cells have half a copy of the genome, but it's been jumbled up compared to its respective parent.

Different terpenes, some phenotypes may only contain a small % of the good terpenes or maybe 0%. That’s why you need to find some good genetics where all the phenos has some really nice characteristics 😍 good luck may the buds be with you my friend
