Watering seedlings

As watering many thing must be learned... First I would put something over the soil to retain Humidity and keep the soil protected from the sun. Like peat moss, coco coir, perlite, hidroton. So the roots can spread on this surface soil. I love to water on the borders, so the water run the whole soil by the sides and stop on the bottom plate (*). The roots must Seek water to develop, if you water the base of the plant it wont need to develop much further to get water. If you are with the plant it's important to water only when she ask for water, and not when """top soil is dry""". My top soil get dry in 1 day, but if I don't water some of my plant for 4 days they stay the same, meaning they have enough water for these days with dry top soil. I use a spray bottle the first couple weeks, I am also a firm believer in the weight of my plants telling me if they need water or not. Good Luck with your grow ✌️

Best advice, let the soil dry almost completely. Over watering is so easy. Make sure there is good drainage. Water only when the top inch or two is dry. No need for nutrients for the first 2 weeks. The 3rd week you can use a weak solution. Get a PH meter and PPM meter.

At that stage the hardest thing is not to overwater the seedlings so the best advices I could give you is to spray water around the seedling , it will be hard to overwater with a sprayer and you'll easily water the surface of the soil , be sure that not only the surface is wet as the roots will need to get water but be careful about the over watering. another tips could be to lift the pot before you water to feel the weight then spray and the weight should change a bit.

100 cc of water, around half a glass each. I would have started them un party cups, easier to water.
