I applied neem oil on the plants last night for pests, but it seems like I damaged the leaves and now I don't know how to fix it, Flortis spray format. The leaves are bent and there are also some yellow spots. How can I remedy this problem? Help me!

The small spots on the leaves could be caused by improper use of neem oil. If applied under intense light or during the hottest hours of the day, the oil can act like a lens and cause slight burns on the leaves. It's always better to apply neem oil in the evening or in low light. Dosage is also important: too much oil can harm the plant. If that happens, the next day you can gently rinse the leaves with clean water. The formation of new healthy leaves is a good sign of the plant's recovery.

Use a lower concentration next time -- or don't use at all. Neem doesn't really do anything if it doesn't have the active ingredient, and this will be misspelled, 'azardirichtin'. If it says clarified neem, it's just a stinky oil that may or may not be preventative. buy some concentrated pyrthrine (souther ag is a brand if in usa). This stuff kills on contact. Anything you spray on your plant it's best to test on a leaf, first. See how it reacts, then apply to entire plant. Clearing out some pests is worth some minimal damage that will heal or won't be a concern in the long-term one way or another. Your plant will be fine as far as the neem application. I'd just keep it happy going forward and that's good enough.

I personally never cracked neem oil, was having many issues constantly. I went with natural predators if troubles started or was paying huge attention to prevention.

Neem oil can potentially clog a plant's stomata if sprayed on the underside of leaf, particularly with high concentrations or if not properly rinsed off. Stomata are pores on the leaf surface that facilitate gas exchange and water transpiration, and when clogged, they can hinder a plant's ability to breathe, draw water, and photosynthesize. Gently wipe leaves with a damp cloth or using a mild soap solution.
