hard to tell if you have a fiber in there or a string of stickiness - tweezers can help.. if it's a fiber definitely pull it out.
iso boils off at a low temp, but working with an open flame with iso is dangerous. An electric heat plate would be safer. how long you need to do something like that depends on how much / how thick etc... so there's no one size fits all answer. smell will be one thing you can pay attention to.. but to get it all it probably needs to go beyond what your senses can resolve.
don't use too much heat or you'll decarb it. if it's 70% or 91% or even 99%, realize you also have water leftover too.
iso is nasty. Find a different solvent. DME is an option and i think that's safer / less things to worry about as far as unusual stabilizers and whatever else is in isopropyl alcohol.
